June 11th 1931 to January 15th 2018
Eighty-Seven years of life.
Husband, Father, Grandfather & Brother; Walter Taiwo Olúdẹinde Olúwọlé
He lived many days and many nights but one life. He fought gallantly his battle of life on Earth. He was fierce in his honesty and devotion to truth. He led his tribe with audacity of his faith in God via Holy Order of the Third Era.
WTO left behind a rich harvest of memories to cherish, honor and emulate.
We keep hearing Dad’s voice;
- Grieve not for me, just remember the good life I lived.
- Be practical and don’t waste too much time.
- Don’t waste money on my flesh, I have had enough overtime.
Our Dad lived many good days and great nights.
He was fierce in his honesty and devotion to the truth. He shared many everlasting wonderful memories with us. He epitomized life well lived.
His final act was a selfless devotion to family, while in transit his body was no match for his zest to experience more of living to visit his children and grandchildren again.
In a flash, alas his pulse of life ceased to exist but his magnificent presence is as vivid and as real it can be. He lives, he lives, and he lives in all his children and grandchildren.
He is with us, he is everywhere. Our Baba lo’gún (Balogún) is still leading the charge of life in us while surging forward with his principles
He did not depart us but transformed into lasting memories on Monday 1/15/18.
